Fabulous "Storybags", these shoulder bags are made in very limited quantities.
Images from the Baroque Bohemian Cats' Tarot, The Bohemian Gothic Tarot, The Fairytale Tarot, the Tarot of Prague and The Victorian Romantic Tarot.
The image is exceptionally well printed on strong smooth canvas.
Sides and backs are dupion 100% silk inferfaced to give structure and strength.
There's a top zip fastening and the bags are fully lined with one internal pocket.
These bags have the most gorgeous handwoven handles.
They are handwoven in Prague using a very old technique which is now rarely found.
The result is a strap that is soft, but thick and strong.
This gives the handles a very special look and they feel gorgeous - folky, funky, silky and very sensual to the touch.
Finished wtih a sprinkling of fine Czech glass beads on the picture and high-quality metallic braiding "framing" it.
The bags are about 18.5cm x 37cm msking them a nice practical handbag-size for purse, phone, comb and so on.
