Anniversaries are about stopping to smell the roses, reflecting on the journey, appreciating your value, celebrating your achievements, acknowledging where you can do better, having a glass of wine, laughing about everything, making plans, affirming and visualising the future and moving on, re-focussed and re-energised! And here we are, celebrating five years and 21 editions of Spheres. Joanne and I have experienced nearly all of the above in bringing this special edition together.

It has been fun reflecting on our journey and we felt it was important to honour the work of those who walked this path before us, such as Shirley MacLaine, Linda Goodman and the Australians, Mr and Mrs Piddington. This has also been a time of deep gratitude. It would be absolutely impossible to thank everyone who has contributed to the success of Spheres but I would like to make special mention of the contributors who have been with us from the very first issue. Thank you to Sharina for predicting Spheres and for every single one of her positive vibes; to Leon Nacson for believing in Spheres from day one; to Martin St James for his love, his friendship and for taking me beyond the known; to Simon and Hiromi Turnbull for the special work they do in the psychic community; to Thomas Owen for being the fabulous Thomas Owen; to Katrena Rose for her angelic assistance and readiness to get in and get her wings dirty; to Tobias Ware for his good jokes, his bad jokes and for keeping us real; to Doreen Virtue for her blessings and kindness; to Spider Ward for making a difference; to Jeanette Hartnack for keeping me sane, her attention to details and for remaining a Goddess in the Face of the Unnecessary use of CAPITALS; to Marcin Ciez, our talented graphic artist for his patience and calm at 21 deadlines; and to synchronicity for bringing Joanne and I together, making this truly amazing journey possible. Now, off to have that glass of wine…
